Group video calling

Spread the love

Love getting friends and family in one place for regular catch ups. Need to hold an meeting quickly or on the go.

Livewire has simplest, high quality video group calls, starting a call take only a few seconds and you can invite all your friends in a snap.

Our group calling works on Chrome, FireFox and Opera with support for Safari coming up. You don’t even need an account to start or join a call.

How it works

Go to the rooms page and enter your name and click enter, Next enter a room name and click enter. Now you have successfully joined the room

Its time to invite people to join the room, to invite people via email, simply click on the mail icon and enter the email id of the person you want to invite, you can invite multiple people by separating the emails with commas, then click enter. When the invited person gets the mail, they have to click on the link in the email to open the page, once they provide their name, they join the call automatically.

You can also share the invite link by clicking on the green link icon, which will copy the invite link to your clipboard.

Call Options

During a group video call, Livewire also provides you with a couple of options, You can toggle your video, so that if you want to temporarily disable your video, you can do it by clicking the video toggle button on the dock.

If you are on desktop and are using chrome or firefox, you can also share your screen, sharing your screen on chrome currently requires the Livewire Screenshare Extension which can be installed from here.
